FEMA Guide for Local Elected and Appointed Officials Released

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released the Local Elected and Appointed Officials Guide:  Roles and Resources in Emergency Management to make it easier for senior officials to understand, prepare for, and execute their leadership responsibilities. The guide is an executive-level introduction to emergency management concepts and principles and identifies the roles and responsibilities for emergency management for local senior officials. FEMA will host a series of free, one-hour webinars to provide an overview of the guidance, facilitated discussions, and updates.
