FEMA Releases Web-based Dam Modeling Tool

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in coordination with the University of Mississippi National Center for Computational Hydroscience and Engineering (NCCHE, has released the Decision Support System for Water Infrastructural Security Web (DSS-WISE Lite), a web-based, automated two-dimensional dam-break flood modeling and mapping capability.  DSS-WISE Lite is accessible 24/7 to registered users via a web portal.  Access to the portal will be granted by FEMA.

Requesting access to maintain situational awareness of water infrastructure in the State and our 10-county region and to conduct threat hazard analysis and risk assessments in our region.
