FEMA Seeks Feedback on Draft Planning Guidance

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released the draft publication, Engaging Faith-Based and Community Organizations: Planning Considerations for Emergency Managers, for review and comment. A revision to the 2018 documentit outlines best practices for improving community resilience and emergency management capabilities engaging faith-based and community organizations. The FEMA feedback period will close on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 4 PM CST. FEMA will host a series of three webinars providing an overview of the draft document and gather feedback. The webinars are free but require advance registration.
