FY 2019 Project Beacon: Increasing Services for Urban American Indian and Alaska Native Victims of Sex Trafficking solicitation

The Office of Victims of Crime, through the FY 2019 Project Beacon: Increasing Services for Urban American Indian and Alaska Native Victims of Sex Trafficking solicitation, seeks to increase the quality and quantity of services available to American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) victims of sex trafficking who reside in urban areas.

Apply under one of the following purpose areas:

Purpose Area 1: Direct Services

Applicants may apply to this purpose area to request funding to develop or enhance organizational capacity to provide services to urban AI/AN victims of sex trafficking; develop and sustain collaborative partnerships; conduct community outreach and awareness activities; and provide training to stakeholders. Applicants for this purpose area must demonstrate that they will provide services to the target population in an urban community.

Under Purpose Area 1, OVC expects to make up to 7 awards of up to $450,000 each for a 36-month period of performance, to begin on October 1, 2019.

Purpose Area 2: Training and Technical Assistance

Applicants may apply to this purpose area to provide capacity-building training and technical assistance to successful grantees under Purpose Area 1.

Under Purpose Area 2, OVC expects to make up to 1 award of up to $550,000 for a 36-month period of performance, to begin on October 1, 2019.

OVC will conduct a pre-application webinar to review the solicitation requirements and conduct a question and answer session on June 19, 2019, from 1–2 p.m. eastern time. Register now.
