IAEM & NEMA EMPG Joint Report

14 May 2020 5:46 PM | Diane Weidenkopf (Administrator)

The International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA) have released a cumulative report  detailing the return on investment realized by the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) program.

For the past ten fiscal years, FY 2010 - 2019, IAEM and NEMA have offered a joint report to Congress.  This year’s iteration is an examination of the work conducted through the EMPG program for the past decade. Recipients of EMPG grants have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to building all-hazards emergency management capacity at the state, local, and tribal levels of government.
