Senior Emergency Management Specialist - City of McKinney - McKinney, TX
Coordinates the development, implementation, and modification of the City’s emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation initiatives. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining emergency management plans, ensuring alignment with best practices, and overseeing the delivery of related products. Distinguished from non-Senior roles by a higher level of responsibility in technical and administrative duties, the Senior Emergency Management Specialist leads efforts in coordinating damage assessments, developing and delivering large-scale exercises, conducting risk assessments, developing training programs to build capacity, and continuity of operations planning. The role also involves supporting volunteer and donations management, emergency management grant responsibilities including allocation, financial reporting, and compliance, and assisting with budget analysis.
