Anthony Jermaine Pryor went to his final call on January 3, 2021 after battling with COVID-19. Anthony had more than twenty years of experience in the fire and emergency service field. Working with numerous fire departments including: Travis County, City of Leander, City of Victoria, and Fort Bend County as well as serving as the Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Richmond, Anthony was well known for his knowledge and leadership to the Cities and Counties he served.

We have lost another amazing emergency manager to COVID-19. Let us carry on in Anthony's memory, making 2021 a year of hope and safety for our communities. Our hearts go out to his family and community.
